About the race
The Huron PTO 5K and Fun Glow Run is an evening community running event in Huron, Ohio, held on September 19, 2026. The course starts and finishes at Woodlands Elementary School, follows the bike path to Huron High School, and returns along the bike path to Woodlands Elementary School.
All proceeds from the event support the Huron PTO.
Distances offered:
- 3.1 miles 5K run/walk
- 1 mile Kids Glow Fun Run
Registration and packet pickup are available before and on the day of the event. Pre-registration and day-of registration fees are set for the 5K, and a reduced fee applies for the kids run for participants age 14 and under. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 18, and also on Saturday, September 19 with same-day registration available.
Awards are presented at the conclusion of the race. A plaque is awarded to the top overall male and top overall female. Medals are awarded to the top three males and top three females in each age group. Age groups include 8 and under, 9-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65-69. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
