About the race
The Huntington West Virginia Turkey Trot is set for Thanksgiving Day 2026 at Ritter Park in Huntington, West Virginia (25701). The event marks its 20th annual running and centers on a community 5K run/walk that benefits Little Victories Animal Rescue, a no-kill shelter and sanctuary serving dogs and cats.
The event offers a 5K run/walk and a race shirt only registration option. T-shirt inclusion with race registration ends on November 15; registrations received after that date do not include a shirt.
