Hunters Moon "Hooves & Heels" Run
The event takes place in Calvert, Texas at 700 Railroad Street, corner of Railroad and Hanna. It is hosted by Calvert Main Street Preservation, a 501(c)3 Texas non profit organization, on October 10, 2026. The program includes multiple running events and community amenities.

The 5K is a chip timed race with custom medals for the top three overall male and female finishers and 1st through 3rd place awards by age division. Age divisions for the 5K include Open Div, 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. The 3K is presented as a color run/walk along a scenic route that passes Victorian homes in Calvert. The 1K is a competitive kids event for children ages 5 through 10; top five boys and top five girls receive custom medals.
Entry fees include an event T-shirt and swag bag with each paid adult or youth entry, custom medals in the 5K and 1K, and complimentary pre race and recovery refreshments. Children age 5 and under may participate in the 3K free with a parent but are not eligible for a free T-shirt.
