The Hunters Moon Hooves & Heels Run is a community running event in Calvert, Texas, held at 700 Railroad Street, corner of Railroad and Hanna. The event offers multiple distances and family-oriented activities across timed and untimed formats.

The 5K is a chip-timed race with custom medals for the top three overall male and female finishers. Additional custom medals are awarded 1st through 3rd place male and female in eleven age divisions: Open, 10 & under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+.
The 3K Color Run/Walk is an untimed, color-themed route of approximately 1.86 miles that passes several Victorian homes in Calvert. Strollers are welcome. Children age 5 and under may participate for free, with no event T-shirt or swag bag provided for free entries.
The Kids 1K is a competitive and fun event for children ages 5 through 10. Top five boys and top five girls receive custom medals. Paid entries include an event T-shirt and a swag bag; complimentary pre-race and recovery refreshments are provided for participants.
To be guaranteed an event T-shirt and requested size, participants must be registered before September 26, 2026. Registration fees for the listed races are specified by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
