Scott Burgess Memorial 5K
The Scott Burgess Memorial 5K is scheduled for May 30, 2026 in Franklin, Texas at 102 W Decherd St. The event was established in 2013 to honor a local service member killed in Afghanistan in 2011. All proceeds support a scholarship program benefiting youth of Robertson County.

Registration details vary by event. The in-person 5K registration opens February 15, 2026 and closes March 10, 2026 with a fee of $25. The Kids Run registration opens February 15, 2026 and closes May 31, 2026 with a fee of $25. The virtual 5K registration opens March 15, 2026 and closes May 30, 2026 with a fee of $35.
Registrations received after May 19 will not be guaranteed a shirt. Organizers will order extra shirts but availability for late registrations is not guaranteed.
