Polish Pickle Run : Bremond, Texas

The Polish Pickle Run is an annual community running event held in Bremond, Texas as part of Bremond Polish Festival Days. The 37th edition is scheduled for June 27, 2026 and uses Main Street in front of The Bremond Press as the race start area. The 5K course is an out-and-back route with rolling hills.

Race recognition and prizes include cash awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, first-place cash in Masters, Seniors and Veterans categories, and awards for Clydesdale and Filly divisions. An extra cash bonus is available for anyone who breaks a course record, limited to the fastest time if multiple runners break a record. Medals are awarded to age-group top finishers in the 5K and to the top five boys and top five girls in the Kids K.

Other event features include a drawing for prizes with livestock or cash top prizes, T shirts for entrants, and refreshments. The Polish Pickle Run Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; since January 2021 the organization has made donations totaling over $14,000, including $3,500 in scholarships to Bremond High School seniors.
