Event Overview
The 2026 Hungry Hungry Half Marathon marks the 10th annual edition of this community race held in Kelowna, British Columbia. Based at the Apple Bowl Stadium on Burtch Road, the event generates support for the Central Okanagan Food Bank. The competition includes various distances that accommodate both runners and walkers through different scenic areas of the city.
Routes and Distances
Participants can register for the following distances:
- 21 KM : A half marathon route that follows the Rails and Trails multi-use pathway, offering views from Knox Mountain and passing along the waterfront through Stuart Park and City Park.
- 10 KM : This route follows the Rails and Trails pathway and leads participants up Knox Mountain before returning to the stadium.
- 5 KM : An out-and-back course that utilizes the Rails and Trails multi-use pathway.
- 1 KM : A dedicated fun run for children under the age of 12, consisting of loops around the Apple Bowl track.
All adult distances start and finish at the Apple Bowl Stadium. For the children's event, every participant receives a medal, and parents are permitted to join their children on the track at no additional cost. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
