Hunger Heroes 5K
Hunger Heroes 5K is presented by Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) and is scheduled for August 29, 2026 at the Westerville Sports Complex, 325 North Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43082. The event includes both in person and virtual participation options.

- 5K Run/Walk in person
- 5K Run/Walk virtual
- Children's Race 200 m recommended for ages 10 and under
Registration for the 5K events opens February 1, 2026 and the listed registration period for those events closes August 3, 2026. The registration fee for each 5K option is $35. The children's race has no registration fee; its registration closes on the day of the event.
The event is timed to align with Hunger Action Awareness Month in September, a nationwide campaign focused on food insecurity awareness. Proceeds from the event will benefit Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM). On the morning of the event, WARM will collect non perishable food items for the community.
