Hunger Heroes 5K
Hunger Heroes 5K is WARM's inaugural community event on August 29, 2026, at the Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave, Westerville OH 43082. The program includes an in-person 5K run or walk, a virtual 5K option, and a short children's race recommended for ages 10 and under.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM). The event is presented in the context of Hunger Action Awareness Month in September, an annual nationwide campaign to raise awareness about food insecurity and inspire action in local communities.
WARM will collect non-perishable food items on the morning of the event. Registration for the in-person and virtual 5K opens February 1, 2026 and closes August 3, 2026; registration for the children's race opens February 1, 2026 and remains open through race day. The registration fee for the 5K is $35.00; the children's race has no registration fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
