Event overview
The 48th Annual Human Race 5K takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Watkinsville, GA. The event benefits the Catholic Student Association Ministries and Activities. Two event options are listed: 5K Run/Walk and 5K Phantom Participant.
Course and on-site offerings
The 5K is run on the paved trail that circles Oconee Veterans Park. The start and finish are located on the soccer field side of the park. After the event there is a light breakfast and an awards ceremony. Results are posted within 24 hours at the timing service website.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Pre-registration closes January 26; that entry level includes a T-shirt. Pre-registration prices: $20 individual, $80 team or family (up to 5). Online registration from January 27 to February 11 is listed at $25 individual and $100 for a team or family up to 5; shirt sizes are not guaranteed after January 26. Race day registration is listed at $25 individual and $100 for a team or family up to 5. Shirts and bibs are available for pickup on Friday, February 13 at the Catholic Center, 1344 South Lumpkin Street.
Awards include pottery pieces for Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and first and second places in standard five-year age groups from 10 and under to 80 and over.
Additional notes
The race may be postponed in 30-minute increments for thunder or lightning. The event is part of the Black Bag Race Series and uses Classic Race Services for finishline management. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
