Huffing For Stuffing
Huffing For Stuffing is a community running event held on Thanksgiving morning, 11/26/2026, at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana. The event is presented by HRDC's Gallatin Valley Food Bank in partnership with Big Sky Wind Drinkers and supports Gallatin Valley Food Bank fundraising efforts. Since 2007 the event has contributed funds to the local food bank totaling more than half a million dollars.
The event program includes in-person and virtual options with multiple distances and formats:
- 10K through South Bozeman neighborhoods
- 5K (timed)
- 5K Fun Run (untimed) for walkers, families, strollers, and costumes
- Kids' Run 0.7 miles
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk run during November 1 to November 28
Organizers order a restricted number of race shirts. Participants may opt out of a shirt to reduce the fee by $5. The Kids' Run price includes the participant shirt. The virtual 5K raises funds for HRDC's Gallatin Valley Food Bank and can be completed by participants who cannot attend in person.
