Hoya and the Hare 5K
Hoya and the Hare 5K is a community running event held on the Harrison High School campus on 10/31/26. The event raises funds to support the Harrison High School Band program and includes in-person and virtual participation options. The in-person event is family friendly and dog friendly; the course is entirely on the high school grounds. Chip timing is used for both the start and finish.
Registration categories and fees are listed for different dates. Regular registration rates end 10/24, late registration rates end 10/30, and race day registration is available. Participants registered by 10/21 are guaranteed race apparel in their size; thereafter apparel is available while supplies last.
The virtual 5K allows participants to run or walk at a location of their choice, submit results online, and have those results posted after the event date. Virtual entrants are eligible for awards and for event apparel as outlined in the registration options.
