The Hickory Hills Howl Through The Hills is a community 5K run/walk held in Hickory Hills, Illinois on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The event is co-hosted by the City of Hickory Hills and North Palos School District 117 and benefits the local SERTOMA organization. All paid participants receive a long sleeve tech shirt. Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled at Hickory Hills City Hall on Friday, October 24, 2025. Race day packet pick up and on-site registration are available.

Registration is offered in multiple categories with tiered pricing windows (examples from the event): adult (19 and older) fees of $33.53 for the early window and $38.86 for the later window, with a higher race day fee; minor (18 and under) fees of $22.85 early and $28.19 later, with a race day fee listed. North Palos School District 117 faculty and staff have a separate fee listed at $22.85. The organizer notes that registering after October 1 does not guarantee receiving a shirt in the desired size. Awards are given to the top three overall male and top three overall female finishers, plus age-group awards across standard age brackets from 14 & under through 70 & over.
