HOW STRONG 5K
The HOW STRONG 5K is a community event held at Dreher Park South in West Palm Beach, Florida. This race is open to runners and walkers of all ages and follows a scenic course through the park grounds.
Available distances include:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Kids Dash (100 yards)
The 5K race is professionally timed by AccuChip using chip timing technology. All registered participants in the 5K receive an event shirt, available in both men’s and women’s styles. Every finisher across the finish line receives a commemorative medal, and age-group awards are presented during an awards ceremony following the run. The Kids Dash is specifically designated for participants aged 7 and under.
Proceeds from the event support Hearing the Ovarian Cancer Whisper (H.O.W.). This organization focuses on women's health through education, advocacy, and research aimed at early detection and improving medical outcomes for ovarian cancer. After completing their distance, participants can access post-run snacks provided at the venue.
