Houston Stars and Stripes Half Marathon, 10K & 5K : Houston, TX
The event takes place on June 20, 2026 in the Houston area and includes multiple distances:

The course is entirely on paved paths and is described by the organizers as flat and fast. The race is chip timed. Pacers will be available at the start holding signs for target finish times. Course time limits are published for each distance.
Finish line provisions include receiving an American flag 0.1 miles before the finish, ice cold Bomb Pops, and finisher medals for all finishers. Winner medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall for the half marathon and 5K timed divisions. Age categories run from 10 and under through 70 plus.
Packet pickup options include mailing the packet for a fee, a pre-event pickup at Dick’s Sporting Goods (14359 East Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston, TX 77044), or pickup at the event site on race morning. Mailed participant gear typically ships 1 to 4 days before race day for mailed and virtual entries.
Water stations provide water on all courses and sports drink at half marathon stations. There is no gear check. Strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers and must start in the back; dogs are not allowed; hand cyclists are not permitted. A portion of the event benefits the PTSD Foundation of America.
