Hot to Trot 5K - Upton
Hot to Trot 5K is an annual community 5K run/walk held on July 25, 2026, at the Upton VFW, 15 Milford St, Upton, MA 01568. The event takes place rain or shine and is organized as a single 5K running event with open registration windows.
The course is described as mostly flat and includes mile markers at miles 1 and 2, plus a water stop at the halfway point. Organizers provide a performance-wicking t-shirt to every registrant, breakfast after the event, and possibly a medal. To be guaranteed a t-shirt, registration must be completed by July 9.
Registration opens January 13, 2026 at 10:00 and online registration closes July 24, 2026 at 18:00. Day-of registration is available at the Upton VFW on the morning of the race from 7:00 to 7:30. The listed registration fee is $30.00.
Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female, and for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the following age groups for both male and female: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Post-race activities include music, breakfast, and awards.
