10th Annual Hot-to-Trot 5K & Family Fun Run
The Hot-to-Trot event takes place at Glade Run in Zelienople, Pennsylvania, hosted by the Rose E Schneider Family YMCA. The course traverses the Glade Run and Passavant Senior Community campuses, offering participants views of horse pastures, riding arenas, and stables. The route consists of a hybrid surface including roads, parking lots, and sidewalks.
The event offers three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- 100 meters (Tot Trot)
Participants in all races receive a t-shirt and a signature horse-shoe finisher medal. For the 5K race, rewards are provided for overall winners and specific age groups. While pre-registration is available online, day-of registration is also offered at the venue. T-shirts and specific sizes are guaranteed for those who register before July 15.
The event logistics are centered at the Glade Run campus, with the registration tent positioned adjacent to the parking area and near the start and finish lines. Packet pick-up occurs on the morning of the event. On-site refreshments are provided for participants, including a beverage from the local ShuBrew brewery for eligible adults.
