Hot Hatch Chile Run, Walk, & Roll
The event is held in Southlake, Texas on August 15, 2026, at 450 W Southlake Blvd. It includes in-person running and handcycle races plus a virtual option. Distances offered include:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 mile
- Handcycle 10K
- Handcycle 5K
Registration fees listed by event are: 10K $50, 5K $40, 1 mile $25, virtual $40, and handcycle entries free. The virtual option allows participants to choose their distance and run from any location; virtual registrants receive a t-shirt by mail and will not receive finisher medals.
Packet pickup is at Dallas Running Company, 1081 E. Southlake Blvd, Southlake TX 76092, on Thursday, August 13 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday, August 14 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Race day packet pickup is available the morning of the event.
Shirts are short sleeve, soft tri-blend. Quantities are limited and sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after July 15, 2026. Age group awards for the 5K and 10K cover U11 through 70+ categories. Top awards include overall, masters, and grand masters for male and female, plus podium places for hand-cyclists in both the 5K and 10K.
The event supports the Neuro Assistance Foundation, which assists spinal cord injured and disabled individuals in the Dallas/Fort Worth and greater Houston areas with mobility equipment and home modifications. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
