Hot Flash 5K Walk/Run
The Hot Flash 5K Walk/Run takes place on October 10, 2026, at Midlothian Community Park, 3601 S. 14th St., Midlothian, TX 76065. The event includes an in person 3.1 mile course and a virtual option for participants who prefer to complete the distance on their own course and schedule.

Registration details differ by entry type. In person registration opens March 24, 2026 and closes May 25, 2026 with a listed fee of $32. Virtual registration opens March 23, 2026 and closes October 11, 2026 with a listed fee of $45. A T shirt deadline to guarantee a race shirt is Friday, September 25, 2026.
Packet pickup is available before race day at a local fitness studio, with the pickup day to be announced. Race day packet pickup is scheduled at the park from 7:00 am to 7:45 am. Timing is optional; there are no timing chips and participants may track time with a personal app.
The event has a strict no refund policy and proceeds in most weather conditions. For safety, organizers may delay the start by up to 30 minutes, shorten or alter the course, or cancel the event if conditions are unsafe.
