Charity, amenities, and participant notes

All proceeds from the event go to A Christmas Wish to purchase Christmas toys for underprivileged children. The organization is volunteer run and supports hundreds of local children. The event accepts unopened toys and additional donations at the race. Post-race offerings include hot cocoa and a commemorative Hot Cocoa Mug. Children 11 years old and younger may participate for free when accompanied by a paid participating adult; those children do not receive race day goodies, though foam cups for hot cocoa are available.
