About the race
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Chicago is scheduled for November 1, 2026 and takes place in Grant Park. The event offers multiple course options and a post race gathering in the park.

- 2 Mile walk
The course starts near the Art Institute of Chicago and the Bean and finishes by Buckingham Fountain. The route passes downtown riverwalk and landmarks such as Millennium Park, Soldier Field, the Field Museum, McCormick Place, and the Chicago Board of Trade.
Race entries include a swag kit with a full zip jacket and a finisher medal. The post race party in Grant Park features live music, vendors, hot chocolate, a finisher mug with chocolate fondue, and edible dippables.
A Ghirardelli Cocoa Club upgrade is available as a VIP option. Club benefits listed include premium Ghirardelli hot cocoa, a shopping bag with take home cocoa, onsite credits, preferred corral placement, access to a dedicated lounge area, upgraded amenities, and extra dippables.
Expo and packet pick up are scheduled for Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31, 2026 with location to be determined. Packet mailing is offered for a fee and there is no race day packet pickup.
