Chicago SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run : November 1, 2026
The Chicago SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run is a city road race held in Grant Park with multiple distance options. The course begins and ends in Grant Park near The Art Institute of Chicago and the Bean, and finishes by Buckingham Fountain. Runners pass downtown landmarks including Millennium Park, Maggie Daley Park, Soldier Field, McCormick Place, the Field Museum, and the Chicago Board of Trade.

An expo and packet pickup take place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago Riverside Exhibit Hall. Packet pickup must occur at the expo or be arranged by packet mailing; there is no race day packet pickup. Race kits include an exclusive full-zip jacket and a finisher's medal.
The event features a post race party in Grant Park with live music, vendors, and a finisher mug served with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. A Ghirardelli Cocoa Club VIP upgrade provides members with premium Ghirardelli hot cocoa, a shopping bag with take home cocoa, VIP corral placement, onsite credits, and an upgraded onsite area with dedicated restrooms and extra treats.
Results and free high resolution photos are emailed to participants. Overall and age group awards are presented for the 5K, 10K, and 15K with prizes for top finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
