Hot Chocolate Run – Chicago (November 1, 2026)
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Chicago is a timed road event held in Grant Park with multiple distances and a post-race celebration. The event offers the following options:
- 5K run
- 10K run
- 15K run
- 2-Mile walk
The course starts and finishes in Grant Park, with routing that passes downtown riverwalk areas and landmarks including Millennium Park, Soldier Field, the Field Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Bean, and Buckingham Fountain. The event is professionally managed and races are professionally timed.
All registrants receive a race kit that includes a full-zip SKECHERS jacket and a finisher medal. The finish line experience includes a finisher mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate, plus a post-race party with live music and vendors in Grant Park. An upgraded Ghirardelli Cocoa Club option provides a VIP area, premium Ghirardelli hot cocoa, a hot breakfast item, preferred corral placement, dedicated restrooms, and an onsite store credit.
Packet pickup (Expo) is held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago; packets may also be mailed for a fee and there is no race day packet pickup. Transportation notes include recommended use of CTA and Metra services and available parking partners such as Millennium Garages.
