Chicago SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Chicago takes place on November 1, 2026 at Grant Park. The event offers multiple distance options and a themed post race experience focused on hot chocolate and chocolate fondue.

The course starts and ends in Grant Park with landmarks along the route including the Art Institute of Chicago, the Bean, Buckingham Fountain, Millennium Park, Soldier Field, and the Field Museum. The event includes a post race party at Grant Park with live music, vendors, a finisher’s mug of chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate.
Every registration includes a swag kit with a full zip fleece and a finisher’s medal; some offers mention a complimentary Tour Tee for new registrations during a limited period. A VIP Ghirardelli Cocoa Club upgrade adds a canvas tote, single serve cocoa, a $35 onsite store credit, VIP preferred corral placement, access to a dedicated Cocoa Club area, and an upgraded onsite experience with additional food and amenities.
An expo and packet pick up are scheduled for October 30 and October 31, 2026 at a location to be determined; there is no race day packet pickup. Packet mailing is available for a fee of $20.95 if requested before October 11, 2026. Free high resolution photos and race results are provided to participants after the event. Overall and age group awards are given for the 5K, 10K, and 15K with specified prize packages for top finishers and age group prizes.
