Event overview
The Hospital Hill Run takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Crown Center Square, 2450 Grand Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64108. The 2026 edition is the 53rd annual running of the event. The date was moved earlier in May due to activities surrounding the FIFA World Cup 26 in Kansas City. The race organization lists Children's Mercy as the official charity partner.

Entry, fees and age limits
Current base entry prices listed are: Half Marathon $75, 10K $50, 5K $35. Virtual event prices listed are: Virtual Half $60, Virtual 10K $45, Virtual 5K $40. A service fee of $2.00 applies. Price increases are scheduled after October 12, 2025 for in-person events and after March 1, 2026 for virtual events. The half marathon and virtual half marathon are open to participants ages 15 and older.
Participant services and extras
All participants receive a participant bib, a commemorative apparel item, and a finisher's medal. The event offers finish-line food and drink, on-course entertainment, a post-race festival with free food and beer at the finish line festival, and free downloadable race photos.
