Horsetooth Half Marathon : Fort Collins, Colorado
The Horsetooth Half Marathon is a point to point half marathon held in Fort Collins and presented by Fort Collins Connexion. The 2026 edition is the 53rd running of the event and is scheduled for April 19, 2026.
The course begins at the location of Hughes Stadium, the former home of the CSU Rams, and finishes at New Belgium Brewing, where a finish line party is held. The route follows Centennial Drive along the shorelines of Horsetooth Reservoir and then continues on the downhill Poudre River recreation trail toward the brewery. The course has a net loss in elevation.
The event notes a prize purse of $12,000. The race is owned by the Fort Collins Running Club and managed by Gnar Runners. Registration for the 2026 race opens June 26, 2025.
