Event overview
The Horseshoe Bend Ultras in Page, AZ features three distances:
- 50 Miler
- 55K
- Half Marathon
Courses run on desert sand, slickrock, and singletrack around the plateau above Page. The 50 mile course passes Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend before finishing with views of Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam. The 55K visits Horseshoe Bend and finishes on a singletrack loop around the plateau with views of Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam. The half marathon ascends and circumnavigates the plateau and is described as smooth and runnable singletrack.
Logistics and policies
Expo and packet pickup are scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Page Sports Complex, 477 Haul Rd, Page, AZ 86040. Bag drop and a cultural presentation by Red Heritage are listed at the expo. On race day, packet pickup begins early morning and runs until 30 minutes before each race start. All runners must park at the Page Sports Complex; a designated runner drop-off area and spectator parking are provided there. Registration closes Wednesday, October 14 at 11:59 PM MT. Distance changes are allowed until the Wednesday before the event. Bib transfers are allowed during early and regular registration but not during late registration. Refunds are not available.
