Hoptown Half Marathon and 5K

The 8th Annual Hoptown Half Marathon & 5K is a joint road race in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Both distances start and finish in front of the Christian County Justice Center at 100 Justice Way, Hopkinsville, KY 42240, where race day packet pickup is also located.

The Half Marathon course travels through downtown Hopkinsville, residential neighborhoods, and Christian County countryside before returning to finish on the Hopkinsville Greenway/Rail Trail. The half marathon course includes a quarter-mile section on the Rail Trail bridge, noted as the longest non-water bridge span in Kentucky. The 5K follows an updated course within the same general area.

Runner packages for the Half Marathon and the 5K include a unique medal and a long-sleeve moisture-wicking performance shirt. Age minimums are specified for each event: the half marathon is open to ages 10 and up, and the 5K is open to ages 5 and up.
