Firecracker 5K - Elkton
The Firecracker 5K in Elkton, Kentucky is a community run and walk held on June 27, 2026. The single event covers a 5K distance and is hosted by the Rotary Club of Elkton, Inc. The route begins at the Milliken Memorial Community House on West Main Street, continues through downtown Elkton, and finishes at the Todd County Welcome Center at Elkton Square.
Registration opens February 1, 2026 and closes June 20, 2026. The stated registration fee is $30. Participants who register before the June 20 deadline receive a free t shirt. Participants who register after June 20 are not guaranteed a t shirt.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Todd County Schools FRYSC. The organizer states that each $30 entry will provide a pair of back to school shoes to a Todd County student for the 2026 to 2027 school year.
