Course and races
The main fell race distance is 5 km / 3.1 miles with 210 m / 689 ft of climb. Junior races are included:
- U10: 1 km / 55 m, fee £3
- U12: 2 km / 106 m, fee £3
- U14: 3 km / 170 m, fee £3
- U16/U18/U20: 4.85 km / 210 m, fee £5.50/£7.50
Course records are 00:18:56 (male, 2021) and 00:20:59 (female, 2021). The course was changed in 2021.
Entries, fees and permits
Pre-entry is available; listed pre-entry fees are £5.50 for members and £7.50 for non-members. Entry on the day is permitted with a fee of £10.00. On-the-day entries will be limited. The race holds a permit and has associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. The event also forms part of the Yorkshire Junior Championship races.
