Course, participants and policies
The 5k is described as a mostly trail and rail-trail course along the Medfield Rail Trail and the Norfolk Hunt Club. The 10k begins on the Medfield Rail Trail, continues on the roads of Medfield, and returns to the rail trail. Course maps are provided by the organizer. A Kids Fun Run for ages 4 - 10 is part of the event program. Children may run the 5k or 10k if accompanied by an adult. Strollers and dogs are not allowed on either course; several course sections are on trails where dogs are not permitted.
Registration, fees and charity
Registration opens January 1, 2026. Entry fees listed are $35 for the 5k and $45 for the 10k. Registrations completed before March 30 receive a complimentary race shirt. Ten percent of funds raised will support the Soles of Medfield Scholarship Fund, which assists a family transitioning out of homelessness.
