Event Overview
The Hope with Every Stride event takes place in Medfield, Massachusetts at McCarthy Park & Fields on Saturday, April 11, 2026. It features two running distances: a 5k and a 10k.
Course Details
The course winds through tree-lined streets, past fields, and along nature trails, using a mix of paved roads and maintained paths. The terrain includes gentle hills and open stretches. The 5k course is mostly on the Medfield Rail Trail and trails near the Norfolk Hunt Club. The 10k course begins on the Medfield Rail Trail, goes onto Medfield roads, and returns to the trail.
Additional Activities
A Kids Fun Run for children aged 4 to 10 is offered.
Charitable Impact
A portion of the funds raised from the event supports a family transitioning out of homelessness. Ten percent of the funds go to the Soles of Medfield Scholarship Fund.
Registration & Policies
Registration prices are $35 for the 5k and $45 for the 10k. Prices increase after February 14, 2026. A complimentary race shirt is available for those who sign up before March 30th. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the race courses. Children may participate in the 5k or 10k if accompanied by an adult. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
