Hope in Every Step: A Walk to Prevent Suicide
The Montgomery County Suicide Prevention Task Force is organizing a community walk on September 13, 2026 at Temple - Ambler Campus in Ambler, PA. The event is intended to support suicide awareness, education, and prevention and is open to participants of varying ages.
Registration opens July 10, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026. The registration fee for participants age 11 and up is $25.00; children 10 years of age and younger are free. During registration, participants may create or join a team.
The walk is listed as approximately X miles. Parking is available in Lot 1 on Meetinghouse Road. Check-in on walk day takes place across the street from the parking area. Refreshments, activities for children, and mental health resources will be available. A giveaway item is planned for the first 150 registered walkers. Dogs are welcome, subject to Temple - Ambler's ground rules.
