Hope in Every Step: A Walk to Prevent Suicide
The Montgomery County Suicide Prevention Task Force is hosting a community walk on September 13 at Temple Ambler Campus in Ambler, Pennsylvania. The walk supports suicide awareness, education, and prevention and offers opportunities for participants to join or form teams during registration.
Registration details: registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026. The registration fee is $25.00 for participants aged 11 and up; children 10 years of age and younger are free. The route is up to 2 miles.
Parking is available in Lot 1 on Meetinghouse Road. Check-in takes place across the street from the parking area. On site there will be refreshments, activities for children, mental health resources, and giveaways. Dogs are welcome when handlers follow Temple Ambler ground rules.
The event is presented as a community opportunity to raise awareness and share resources related to suicide prevention, staffed and organized by the county task force. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
