Hope for the Holiday Half Marathon and 5k in Memory of Garrett Yeager

The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Batesville, Arkansas at 600 Eagle Mountain Blvd. The race program includes the following events:

• Half Marathon
• 5k Run/Walk
• Hope for the Holiday Virtual Race Half Marathon
• Hope for the Holiday Virtual Race 5K

Registration fees listed are $60 for the half marathon, $30 for the 5k, $60 for the virtual half, and $35 for the virtual 5k. Registration closes on November 30, 2025; registration by that date is required to be guaranteed a race hoodie. Packet pickup is available on race morning.

Course, beneficiaries and race details

The event is held in memory of Garrett Yeager. All proceeds will be donated to Special Olympics of Batesville and to New Hope Refuge. New Hope Refuge is described as a faith-based, Christ-centered program for women who are struggling with substance abuse issues.

Course notes: the 5k starts in the Eagle Mountain neighborhood. The half marathon continues to the Lyon College campus, includes a 3/4 mile trail section, then follows country roads back toward the main highway and returns to Eagle Mountain. Each participant receives a finisher medal and a race hoodie. If the race is cancelled, entries will be deferred to the 2025 race and refunds are not available.
