Hope Fest 5K Walk/Run & Kids Fun Run : September 12, 2026
The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Marion, IL. It includes multiple race events held on the grounds of Community of Faith Church at 5208 Meadowland Pkwy.

Location, course, registration and awards
The race starts and finishes on the church grounds near the airport. The course is described as very flat, fast, and entirely on asphalt or concrete. Packets and on-site registration are available at the race site on race day; online registration opens February 1, 2026. Entry fees listed are $25 for the 5K events and $15 for the kids fun run. The 5K fee includes a Hope Fest 5K T-shirt (guaranteed for pre-registered participants who meet the event deadline) and a race day wristband.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each 10-year age group for the run, top three walkers male and female, and special awards for the top three kids in the fun run. Each child finisher in the kids run receives a finisher’s award. Proceeds benefit local programs operated by Herrin House of Hope and Hands of Hope Foundation.
