Purpose, format and logistics
The event is organized by CurePSP, a nonprofit dedicated to awareness, care and research for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD) and multiple system atrophy (MSA). All proceeds will go to the CurePSP Quality of Life Respit Grant Fund, which will provide 100 hours of professional caregiving services to families.
The day includes packet pickup and race day registration, followed by a 1 Mile fun run and a 5K run/walk. Online registration will close once the field reaches a cap of 500 participants. Early packet pickup details are listed as TBD; race day packet pickup will be available at the race site.
Organizers describe the course as fast and flat. Race features include awards three deep in five-year age brackets, overall and master awards, free soft drinks and other refreshments, and custom finisher medals.
