Hope 4 Healing : community run, walk, roll, and virtual event
Hope 4 Healing is organized by Tower of Hope Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds and awareness for healing from childhood trauma. Proceeds support the Build the Tower Campaign for a permanent meeting space, operating expenses, technology upgrades, scholarships for an Academy program, and other program needs.
The event offers in-person and virtual participation and incorporates physical activity as part of the healing process. Activities include running, walking, rolling in manual or electric wheelchairs, and stroller use. Motorized personal devices such as bikes, electric scooters, hoverboards, and segways are not permitted.
The course is based at Tiemeyer Park, 3311 Ashby Rd, St. Ann, MO. The route begins inside the park, continues along a neighboring street, returns for a lap around the park fountain, and finishes at the start location. There are slight inclines along the course. All participants must be able to complete the course within three hours. Parking is available at Hoech Middle School across from the park; only handicapped and sponsor parking is allowed inside the park.
Additional event features include packet pickup at St. Ann Community Center the day before and on-site packet pickup and registration at Tiemeyer Park on event day. Virtual participants may complete distances at any date or location; mailed bib and shipping details vary by registration date. Entry fees are nonrefundable; one bib transfer per registration is permitted.
