Hop, SCIP, Jump, and Run 2026
The Hop, SCIP, Jump, and Run is an annual community event held in Lincoln, Nebraska. The 13th edition of this event takes place at the Antelope Park Enclosed Shelter. This gathering serves as a fundraiser for School Community Intervention & Prevention (SCIP), a program of the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership that provides behavioral and emotional health resources to schools and families throughout Nebraska.
The event features a structured running activity:
- 1-Mile Kids' Fun Run
Participants in the fun run must register in advance, as entries are limited to a maximum of 200 runners. Registration for the run is free of charge, though no entries are accepted on the day of the event.
In addition to the run, the event includes various activities and booths located within Antelope Park. Participants can visit these stations to have a card stamped. Reaching a specific number of stamps makes an individual eligible for prize entries. While the run requires pre-registration, the booths and activities are open to walk-up participants. The funds raised during the event support SCIP in providing tools and training for school staff and the community on topics such as suicide prevention, drug trends, and bullying.
