Ho'ōla 5K
The Ho'ōla 5K takes place on June 6, 2026, at Kalama Valley Community Park in Honolulu (555 Kealahou St., 96825). The event is a 5K (3.1 miles) course through Kalama Valley and is professionally timed for competitive participants. A stroller division is offered so runners may participate while pushing a stroller.
The event raises funds for the Hawai‘i Primary Care Association. HPCA is a nonprofit that strengthens Hawai‘i's primary care system by advocating for, expanding access to, and sustaining high quality health care through a statewide network of Community Health Centers. HPCA has supported community-driven health care for over 30 years to improve access for underserved and vulnerable populations across Hawai‘i.
Registration opens March 1, 2026 and closes April 1, 2026. The registration fee is $35.00. For the stroller division only the runner pushing the stroller needs to register; the child in the stroller does not need to register.
Awards are planned for the overall top three female and male finishers and for the top three male and female finishers in five year age groups. Awards will also be given to the top three finishers in the stroller division. Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, 6/5/26, 1-3 pm at Running Room, 819 Kapahulu Ave, Honolulu, and on race day at Kalama Valley Community Park. Race tee shirts will be available for purchase during registration. Refreshments will be provided at the park after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
