About the race
The Hoodlebug 5K Run and Fun Walk takes place on September 13, 2026, in Homer City, Pennsylvania, as part of the Homer City Business Association’s Annual Fall Festival. The event is held at Floodway Park (35 Kirk Avenue) and begins on the bridge on Main Street near the park. The course is an out and back route run mostly on the Hoodlebug Trail. The event welcomes both runners and walkers.
Family pricing is available. Registration fee is $25.00 and registration is offered in advance; race day registration is held at Floodway Park. Chip timing is provided by Gingerbread Timing and live results will be uploaded every 30 seconds during the race at RunSignUp. Race shirts are guaranteed to registrants who register by September 1; shirts after that date and on race day are available while supplies last. Awards are presented to the top three males and top three females overall and to the top three males and top three females in five-year age groups beginning at 12 and under and continuing through 70 and over.
There are no separate awards for walkers. The event is held rain or shine and there are no deferrals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
