About the race
The City of Farmington Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs Department presents the annual Turkey Trot on November 21, 2026 in Downtown Farmington, New Mexico. The event uses Orchard Plaza as the start and finish location and comprises two separate running events organized by distance.
- 5K Turkey Trot
- 2 mile Gobble Wobble
Registration opens September 1, 2026. Standard registration is available through November 20, 2026; standard fees are $30 for the 5K and $15 for the 2 mile. Late registration is available after standard registration closes and includes an additional $10 for the 5K and $5 for the 2 mile.
Packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, November 20, at the Farmington Recreation Center, 1101 Fairgrounds Rd, during the published pickup window. The event lists age categories for awards as: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. The first 400 registrants will receive a T shirt.
