Honour Her Mother's Day Run
The second annual Honour Her Mother's Day Run is a community event held in Point Edward, Ontario. Located at the Canatara Park Bandshell on Lake Chipican Drive, this event brings together participants to walk, run, or stroll in recognition of mothers and caregivers.
The event features several distance options to accommodate various participants:
- 1 km : a dedicated run for children aged 12 and under, following the Terry Fox loop once.
- 3 km : a walking and strolling route designed for families and those with strollers.
- 5 km : a running route established through the grounds of Canatara Park.
- 10 km : a running distance that requires completing the 5 km loop twice.
Participants in the children's 1 km run receive a medal upon completion, and prizes are awarded based on age divisions.
