This annual memorial run takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 9220 John Tyler Memorial Hwy., Charles City, VA. The event supports a grant for SCN8A families; proceeds are directed to that grant. The event is the fourth edition and honors a child who passed away at age 12 and enjoyed outdoor time and wheelchair rides during runs.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. In-person entrants receive an official race time, a finisher's medal, and a finish-line beer valid only on race day. Virtual participants have seven days to complete their chosen distance and receive a finisher's medal.

The half marathon consists of two 3.25-mile out-and-back loops on the Capital Trail, starting at Indian Fields Tavern, with water available at both turn-around points. The quarter marathon is a single 3.25-mile out-and-back loop on the Capital Trail. The 5k is a 1.55-mile out-and-back on the same trail.
