#HonorConnor : Charles City, VA
This community running event takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Charles City, Virginia. It is held in memory of a child who passed away at age 12 and who enjoyed being outdoors and being pushed in his wheelchair on runs with his mother. All proceeds will benefit a grant for SCN8A families.
Races and virtual options are offered over multiple distances. In-person entries include an official race time, a finisher's medal, and a finish-line beer available only on race day. Virtual participants have seven days to complete their chosen distance and receive a finisher's medal.
The in-person course uses the Capital Trail and begins near Indian Fields Tavern. The half marathon is run as two out-and-back loops, the quarter marathon as one out-and-back loop, and the 5k is an out-and-back on the same trail. Water will be provided on the half marathon course at the turn-around points.

- Quarter Marathon: 6.55 Miles
- 5k: 3.1 Miles
