Hooves & Paws 5k & 10k - Pleasant Grove Park
The event takes place on June 26, 2027, at Pleasant Grove Park in Palmyra, Virginia. Distances offered:

- 10 km
The course is a technical cross country trail with roots, rocks, and some hills and includes some elevation gain. Water stations are placed along the routes: three on the 10k at approximately miles 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65, and one on the 5k at approximately mile 1.55. Restrooms are available in the park. Parking is at Pleasant Grove Park, 271 Pleasant Grove Dr., Palmyra, VA 22963.
Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series, and toward the Spring Series. A virtual race option is available. Registered runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered before June 16; extra shirts are offered after that date on a first-come, first-served basis.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second in age categories 19&Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Live results will be posted on Athlinks and final series points are published after the race. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered.
