Runners receive a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. A virtual race option is available. The event benefits Hooves & Paws Animal Rescue, a nonprofit that provides rescue, sanctuary, care, and adoption services for abused and abandoned animals and maintains lifelong care for animals not available for adoption.

There are three water stations on the 10 km course at approximately miles 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65, and one water station on the 5 km course at approximately mile 1.55. Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located in the park.

Registration fees listed: 5k $30 until June 15 then $35, and 10k $45 until June 15 then $50. Race morning prices increase by $5 for each distance. T shirts are guaranteed for entries before June 16; extra shirts are available after that on a first come basis. Packet pickup is available at the event; participants are advised to arrive about one hour before their event to check in.

Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second in age groups from 19 and under through 70 plus. Overall top three finishers are not eligible for age group awards. Live results will be available on Athlinks with a QR code at the event and final results posted the Monday after the race.

Points from this event count toward the year long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series and toward the Spring Series. The Back of the Pack time is 12:00. Parking is available at the park; a GPS pin is provided for location. The organizer operates rain or shine and may delay or cancel for weather.
