The Honey Creek 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 15K
The event in Bloomville, Ohio offers four paved road distances that follow Honey Creek through farmland and rural surroundings. The course uses country roads and is described as scenic and peaceful. The race is held for the first time and is presented in honor of a local individual.
Distances offered:
- 1 Mile: out 0.5 miles then return to the start/finish.
- 5K: out 1.55 miles then return to the start/finish.
- 10K: repeat the 1.55 mile out and back route twice.
- 15K: repeat the 1.55 mile out and back route four times.
The course is clearly marked with signs and volunteers at key turns. Packet pickup is available race morning and organizers suggest allowing 30 to 45 minutes for pickup. Aid stations provide water and hydration on course. The finish area includes medals and event swag.
