The course distance is given in source materials as between about 4.6 and 4.8 miles. The event is organized as an individual race entry rather than a multi-race series registration.

This race is part of the Bucks County Road Runners (BCRR) Winter Series, which began in 1978 and normally includes eleven weekly races held from December through February, weather permitting. Registration for the full Winter Series requires an annual BCRR membership and opens in the fall. For competitors seeking series awards, the series rules state a requirement of at least one race and one volunteer assignment to be eligible.
