We Love Teachers 5K - Nashville
The We Love Teachers 5K in Nashville is scheduled for October 10, 2026 at Two Rivers Park, 3150 McGavock Pk, Nashville, TN 37214. The event is one of ten in-person host cities that are part of a nationwide National Day to Move for Education and the We Love Teachers Worldwide simultaneous celebration.
The event is a chip-timed 5K race. Participants receive an official race bib, a We Love Teachers Worldwide 5K shirt, and a finisher medal. Race results are available at local and national levels, and individual performances can appear on a real-time national leaderboard.
The event includes options to dedicate runs to a specific teacher; each dedicated teacher receives a personal digital certificate of appreciation when a dedication is added before October 10. A school challenge tracks school teams on a National School Spirit Leaderboard; virtual participants who join a school team count toward that school’s total.
Award categories include overall male and female, and age-group awards for male and female in these brackets: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. New awards listed for the year include Most School Spirit, Fastest Teacher male and female, Team Champion (minimum team size 4), and Legacy Award for best parent-child duo time.
