Homer Trails Series: Hornaday Hill Repeats

The event is the second run in the Homer Trails Series. It takes place at Karen Hornaday Park on West Fairview Avenue in Homer, Alaska, on August 26.

Participants run up and down the switchback trail at the back of the park for a set period of one hour. Entrants may compete as individuals or as members of a two person relay team. Individuals who complete the most circuits on the trail during the hour receive the King or Queen of the Mountain Award.

There will also be a door prize drawing for all participants. The format focuses on repeating laps on the park switchback trail and tracking the number of completed circuits for the award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
