HomeFront's HALLOWEEN 5K Run
The HomeFront Halloween Run, Walk, and Family Fun event is scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 502 Carnegie Center, Princeton, NJ. The event features a USTAF certified, flat 5K course described as scenic and Halloween themed, with live bands and themed surprises along the route. The 5K is a timed race; the 1 mile route is not timed.
Pre-race packet pick up is required for participants in the 5K Run and the 1 Mile Walk and is scheduled the day before the event. Same-day, in-person registration may be available if the overall participant cap of 1200 has not been reached.

Entry fees vary by event and by registration date: the 5K fee is listed as $40 before October 17 and higher thereafter; the 1 Mile fee is listed as $25 before October 17 and higher thereafter; the Pumpkin Dash fee is $10. T-shirts are provided to the first 1000 registrants for the 5K and 1 Mile events; later registrants are not guaranteed size or a shirt.
Family activities include a Trunk-or-Treat, costume contests (with a request to avoid scary costumes), a preschool pumpkin dash with certificates and goody bags, kids' crafts, face painting, balloons, and live music. Proceeds support Joy, Hopes and Dreams, a program serving more than 400 children affected by poverty and housing instability through tutoring, mentoring, arts, and other year-round activities.
