HomeFront's HALLOWEEN 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in Princeton, NJ at 502 Carnegie Center. The event is Halloween-themed and uses a USTAF certified course described as flat and scenic. On-course features include live bands and Halloween surprises. Distances offered:

• 1 Mile
• 100 yard Preschool Pumpkin Dash Virtual options and a Marathon Challenge event are also listed.

Logistics and registration

Online registration closes on October 21, 2025. In-person and race-day registration are available only if the event has not reached its maximum of 1,200 participants. Pre-race packet pickup is required for anyone registered for the 5K or 1 Mile and is scheduled at the race venue the day before the event. Parking is available in front of building 502, with spillover parking in front of building 302. The 5K is a timed event; the 1 Mile is not timed.

Fees, apparel and awards

Standard fees are listed as: 5K $40 (rising to $50 after October 18), 1 Mile $25 (rising to $30 after October 18), and Pumpkin Dash $10. T-shirts are provided to 5K and 1 Mile participants for the first 1,000 registrants; sizes and shirts are not guaranteed for later registrations. Awards include 5K trophies for the top three male and female finishers overall and in age groups, prizes for top fundraisers and top fundraising team, and prizes for best adult and child Halloween costumes.
