Jewish Healthcare's 23rd Annual Home Run 5K Road Race/Walk
The event is a community 5K road race and walk held on October 11, 2026, at 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA. It is presented by Patrick Motor Group and serves as a fundraiser for the Jewish Healthcare Center. Proceeds support services and programs for the center's residents and patients, including Long-Term Care, Alzheimer Care, Short-Term Rehab, Hospice, PrivateCare, and Assisted Living at Eisenberg Assisted Living Residence.
Participants may run or walk, and dogs are welcome. Prizes are awarded to top finishers. A free bagel breakfast is provided by Price Chopper. A dedicated kid's area offers activities for children and dogs. The event takes place rain or shine.
Registration details include an online registration deadline the Friday before the race. Race-day registration is available for a $20 run fee; walking and senior entries are free. Standard 5K registration fees list a $15 rate when registering by the Friday before the race. Seniors age 70 and over may register free.
The published course starts at the midpoint of the JHC driveway and follows a loop that includes Salisbury Street, Barry Road, Birchwood Road, Dick Drive, Spring Valley Drive, Lynnwood Lane, and returns to finish across from the JHC driveway.
