Holymoorside 10k
The Holymoorside 10k is held on 10 May 2026 at the Village Hall in Holymoorside, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The event is organised by the 1st Holymoorside Scout Group, a registered charity (number 1136758), and supports scout fundraising activities. Scouts will provide refreshments, cakes, bacon butties and assistance to participants and visitors.

The 10 km race runs on quiet country lanes through Derbyshire countryside. The course includes an uphill section of about 4 km, then a stretch across the moor and a downhill return into the village, finishing with a lap of the village playing fields. The race is run under UKA rules, is accurately measured, and has first aid cover and drinks stations provided in line with UKA guidelines. Changing facilities are limited and the route is fully marshalled.
Prizes are awarded to category winners; a competitor may not receive more than one prize. Presentation of trophies will take place outside the Village Hall where possible otherwise prizes will be posted the following week. Subject to availability, runners may collect a Holymoorside 10k 2026 notepad and pen near the finish.
Entries open on 8 December 2025 and close on 3 May 2026. Entry fees are shown for UKA members and non members. The minimum age for the 10 km race is 15. When entering a runner under 18 the parent or guardian must register and make the entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
