Holymoorside 10K
The Holymoorside 10K is an annual road race held in the picturesque Derbyshire village of Holymoorside. Scheduled for Sunday, 18th May 2025, the event features a 10-kilometer course that winds through scenic countryside and quiet country lanes. Starting at the Village Hall, the route includes a 4km uphill stretch, a moorland section, and a fast downhill finish with a lap around the village playing fields.
The race is UK Athletics (UKA) certified, fully marshalled, and supported by first aid and drink stations. A 2K fun run around the village playing fields is also offered, open to all ages. Organized by the 1st Holymoorside Scout Group, the event fosters a friendly atmosphere with refreshments and prizes for category winners.
