Race details

  • 10k road race
  • 2k Fun Run (entry on the day only)

The 10k is an accurately measured road course run under UKA rules. The course leaves the Village Hall, runs uphill for about 4 km, crosses moorland, then descends back into the village with a downhill finish and a lap of the village playing fields. The route is fully marshalled. First aid cover and drinks stations are provided in line with UKA guidelines. There are limited changing facilities. Free parking is available in a designated field a 5 - 10 minute walk from the start; organisers ask that people avoid parking on the road and car share where possible. Prizes will be awarded to category winners; presentation of trophies will take place outside the Village Hall or, if not possible, prizes will be posted the following week. The Fun Run follows a 2k route around the village playing fields and all participants receive a medal.

Entries open on Monday 8 December 2025 and close on Sunday 3 May 2026. Minimum age for the 10k is 15 or older. Entry fees: UKA members £20.00, non-members £22.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
