The Holymoorside 10k is an annual road race organized by the 1st Holymoorside Scout Group as a fundraising activity. The event takes place in the village of Holymoorside, Derbyshire.

The event features two distances:
- A 10 km road race for participants aged 15 and over.
- A 2 km fun run with entry available on the day.
Course Information
The 10 km race starts at the Village Hall. The course follows quiet country lanes through the surrounding countryside. The route includes a 4 km uphill section, winds across the moor, and finishes with a downhill run back into the village, concluding with a lap of the village playing fields. The race is accurately measured and run under UK Athletics rules. The route is fully marshalled.
Facilities and Services
First aid cover and drinks stations are provided in line with UKA guidelines. There are limited changing facilities. Free parking is available in a designated field, a 5-10 minute walk from the start. Scouts provide refreshments including cakes and bacon sandwiches. Prizes are awarded to category winners, and all 10 km participants can collect a commemorative notepad and pen. All fun run participants receive a medal.
