Event Overview
The Holme Howler is a 10 km adventure run and obstacle course held in Holme village, on the edge of the Lake District. The event is part of the village's annual Festival of Sport weekend.
The Course and Obstacles
The multi-terrain course goes across roads, fields, and scenic canal paths. It features obstacles such as cargo nets, walls, monkey bars, and a water slide. The route is described as undulating. A new theme for the event will be announced.
Participant Information
The maximum number of entrants is 288. The minimum age to participate is 16 years.
Additional Activities
The event includes other activities for families. These are a Mini Howler fun run for younger participants, a village fete with stalls and games, a 5-a-side football tournament, and an after-party at The Smithy Inn.
