The Hollywood Sign Run | Hike takes place on January 25, 2026 in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. The event uses an out-and-back course to the Hollywood Sign Viewpoint with views of the Griffith Observatory and Downtown Los Angeles. Distances offered include:

- 5K Griffith Park Trail Challenge
- P-2.2K Kid Run
Course terrain: the 8M is about 6 miles of trails and 2 miles of asphalt; the 8K is 3.12 miles of trails and 1.9 miles of asphalt; the 5K is 3.12 miles of trails; the kid run is all trails. Age groups run from 19 & under up through 70+.
Practical information
Start/finish is on the fire road just north of the Old Zoo picnic area in Griffith Park; nearest ranger station address is 4730 Crystal Springs Drive. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Burbank (1516 Magnolia Blvd) on the two days before the event and on race morning at the base of the Old Zoo. Amenities include a gender-specific short sleeve t-shirt (guaranteed size deadline January 5), a finisher medal, chip timing, aid stations (locations specified per distance), medical staff, gear check, free photos for the 8M, awards and sponsor prizes, and finish-line refreshments. No refunds are offered; one-time transfers or one-time deferrals are permitted with requests at least 14 days before the event. Strollers and dogs are not allowed.
