Holistic Hustle - 5th Annual
Holistic Hustle takes place at Emmons Preserve in Kennebunkport, ME on October 31, 2026. The event is presented by School Around Us, a 501(c)(3) co-learning community that serves students ages 4 to 14 and emphasizes holistic and environmental education.
The event offers multiple timed and untimed running options and community activities. Distances include:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Kids 1/2 mile fun run (0.5 miles)
All participants receive a unique finishers medal and a raffle ticket; additional raffle tickets are available for purchase at the event. Awards will be given for first place overall male and female in the 5K and 10K. Music will be available throughout the morning, and the program includes face painting, yard games and refreshments such as doughnuts, cookies, hot chocolate and Wicked Joe coffee.
The Hustle for Holistic Education is a community fundraiser to support the School Around Us mission of lifelong learning and connection to the environment. The organizer anticipates upwards of 100 participants. Registration fees listed for the events are $25 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K and $10 for the student fun run; a family rate of $60 applies for families registering three to eight people.
