Event Overview
The Holistic Hustle is a community event featuring timed runs and a kids' fun run. It is the 4th annual edition and takes place at Emmons Preserve in Kennebunkport.
Distances
Participants can choose from three events:
- A 10K run.
- A 5K run/walk.
- A Student (13 and under) Timed 5K or 1/2 mile Fun Run.
Event Details
The event includes music throughout the morning. All participants receive a unique wood-burned finisher's medal. Awards are presented for first-place overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K races.
The event also features activities such as face painting, yard games, and refreshments. Refreshments mentioned include Congdon's doughnuts, cookies, hot chocolate, and Wicked Joe coffee.
Every participant receives a ticket for a raffle with prizes and local gift cards. Extra raffle tickets can be purchased on-site.
Organizer Information
The event supports School Around Us, a co-learning community founded in 1970 that serves students aged 5 to 14 and focuses on holistic and environmental education. The organizers anticipate over 100 participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
