Hold the Fort 10K, 5K, & 1 Mile Warrior Walk : Pelham, AL
The Hold the Fort event is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Oak Mountain State Park, starting at the Dogwood Pavilion and entering through the park front gate. The event includes the following distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile Warrior Walk
Entry fees are listed as $40 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $30 for the 1 Mile Warrior Walk. Park admission is included with registration, provided by Mills Pharmacy.
Proceeds are directed toward raising $250,000 to complete construction of a Restoration Home to care for children rescued from human trafficking and to support related community training, development, and advocacy.
Event features described by the organizer include cash prizes for the top overall male and female in the 10K and 5K, awards across 14 categories, a complimentary event t-shirt for the first 200 registrants (sizes subject to availability), and prize drawings for participants.
