Hokey Cokey Swimrun - Gribbin Head
The event starts and finishes in the town of Fowey and follows sections of the coast that include Gribbin Head. The route alternates between sea swims and running stages along coastal path, sand, gravel and tarmac. Competitors swim in the sea wearing wetsuits and run between swim stages.
There are two course options and multiple stages for each:
- Long Course: approx 22.6 km; ~17.9 km run, 4.7 km sea swim, 13 stages.
- Short Course: approx 10.3 km; ~7.1 km run, 3.2 km sea swim, 7 stages.
Entries are accepted for individuals on both courses. The long course can also be entered as a team of two, allowing two participants to race together over the long course stages.
The event day is expected to involve mixed terrain under coastal conditions and repeated transitions between running and open-water swimming. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
